Panagiotis Varvatsoulis is an experienced Pediatric & Adult Neurosurgeon with a clinical career spanning more than two decades in neurosurgery of the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves. A graduate of the School of Medicine at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, he trained and served in major hospitals of the Greek National Health System and, in recent years, has practiced as a highly regarded private neurosurgeon affiliated with leading private hospitals in Athens.

His clinical practice covers the full spectrum of contemporary neurosurgical care for adults and children, including brain and spinal tumors, degenerative and traumatic spine conditions, and disorders of the peripheral nerves, with particular emphasis on microsurgical precision and minimally invasive techniques designed to reduce postoperative pain and support faster recovery.

Brief Biography

Panos D. Varvatsoulis was born in Athens in 1968. He completed secondary education at the Varvakios Model School and subsequently entered the School of Medicine at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, graduating in 1994.

After completing his rural medical service, he initially trained in Thoracic Surgery at KAT General Hospital, and then completed specialty training in Neurosurgery at “G. Gennimatas” General Hospital of Athens and “Agios Savvas” Oncology Hospital. In 2006, he was awarded the title of Specialist in Neurosurgery and has since practiced as a private neurosurgeon, with longstanding collaboration with major private hospitals in Athens, treating both adults and children.
