Panagiotis Kokkalis is a Pediatric & Adult Neurosurgeon with extensive experience in the management of disorders of the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves. He combines a classical medical education at the School of Medicine of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens with long-standing clinical activity across major private hospitals in Athens and Thessaly.

Short Bio

Panagiotis Kokkalis is a neurosurgeon with focused expertise in brain, spine, and peripheral nerve neurosurgery, with clinical activity in Athens and Thessaly. He is a graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens School of Medicine.

His training includes service in Thoracic Surgery at “KAT” General Hospital, followed by full residency training in Neurosurgery at G. Gennimatas General Hospital and Agios Savvas Oncology Hospital, where he gained systematic exposure to a broad spectrum of neurosurgical cases. He currently works as a consultant in major private hospitals and maintains a private practice in Karditsa.

Dr. Kokkalis has developed a particular interest in pediatric neurosurgery and in managing complex cases with an emphasis on safety, careful preoperative planning, and structured postoperative follow-up for young patients. In parallel, he is extensively involved in degenerative disease and deformity of the spine, as well as peripheral nerve disorders.
